If you want to see the World of Color water show at Disney California Adventure, here’s a way to see it without being jammed in with the ordinary rabble:
If you order and buy a picnic dinner for $15.99, you get a free ticket to the reserved viewing area to watch the show from the official World of Color Viewing Area.
Obviously, many people are heading over to Disney California Adventure these days to see the new Cars Land attractions.
And, while you’re there, you will likely want to see World of Color. Now, $15.99 isn’t bad for a theme park meal, especially if you have very low expectations and you also get a reserved place to see the show, right?

Here’s how it works:
You can choose from four different types of adult picnic meals, including an entree, dessert and drink. If you order at least four meals, you get a commemorative tote bag, too. Two different kids meals include a souvenir.
You can pre-order online between 1 and 30 days before the date of the show you plan to attend. You cannot pre-order on the day you arrive. Disney annual passholders get a discount. They can sell out, so order ahead of time.

Note that your ticket with the meal lets you into the official Paradise Pier viewing location, but even with this ticket, it is first-come first-served, so get there early.
